Today’s assignment is to write a poem about your favorite time of day. You can write about what you notice that makes it your favorite time of day or how you feel at that particular time of day.

I had a hard time writing for today’s assignment. Not because I wasn’t inspired but I think I just got lazy about picking up that pen and writing.
The good news is sometimes it’s also great to think of a poem for a couple days and then letting the rest of it come to you. I didn’t want to force it but there is no excuse for not writing today. This means I owe myself two poems tomorrow.
